Boris Johnson is in Parliament because of 23,716 people voting for him to be their constituency MP, and 92,153 registered members of the Conservative Party voted for him to lead the party.

Even assuming there’s no overlap in those numbers, that means that only 115,869 people voted for him to get him to where he is right now.

That’s my silver lining that lets me actually carry on with my life today rather than just sinking into a deep dark pit of burning hatred for everyone around me for supporting this clown.
